Cotton Shed Theatre Company  was created in January 2007 as  a result of the partnership of three local schools; Tor View School, Haslingden High School and Haslingden Primary School. Cotton Shed is part of the world famous Chickenshed, London’s Shedlink  Programme enabling people of all ages and abilities to take part in theatre and   drama activities.

We create high quality, original work that is uncompromising. At the heart of each performance that we devise, both open workshops or full scale productions, is that everyone’s creativity counts.

We are the only inclusive theatre company in East Lancashire and aim to provide the local community with a space where they can be creative, feel comfortable to express themselves and enjoy working with new people. We run
taster sessions incorporating local schools and colleges, linking mainstream and special schools to ensure the
                              sessions are always inclusive.

Annual membership subscriptions of £10 per person
Workshop subscription of £4 per session, per person (£3 for each subsequent family member)
